Player Announcement - Danny Arrubla

Team USA is thrilled to announce that forward Danny Arrubla has joined the squad. Danny, an Arizona native, joins several of his Sporting AZ FC teammates in preparation for the small sided World Cup in Lisbon this fall.

Danny attended Metro State University in Colorado and followed that with Swedish side Grythyttans IF. In 2017, Danny returned to Arizona and joined Sporting. Most recently, Danny scored in each of Sporting's three UPSL National Championship Tournament matches, tying for Golden Boot honors and earning a place in the All-Tournament squad.
