Player Announcement - Noel Castillo

Midfielder Noel Castillo is the latest addition to Team USA's roster. Noel joins several other Sporting AZ FC teammates who will be representing the US as they battle for some hardware in the small-sided World Cup this September in Lisbon, Portugal. 

Noel, originally from Las Cruces, New Mexico, spent time in Mexico playing with Liga MX side Santos Laguna as well as a few seasons with Indios de Ciudad Juarez and Irapuato. After a successful career in Mexico, Noel headed to Arizona and eventually joined the Sporting AZ FC squad.

Noel is confident heading into Lisbon and expects that the US will do well. When asked what his hopes are going into the tournament, Noel replied, "to win!"
